The Tameka Product Story
The story behind the product is a result of the culmination of many ideas.Generally I can describe our product as definitely uniquely Namibian, because we strive to use local materials in production and all products are manufactured by local designers and artisans and our designs are developed through local inspiration.
Tameka products are not the normal tourist orientated gift or souvenir but rather a product that adheres to international manufacturing standards. Considering the aspect of design, materials and manufacturing it reflects a well thought-through plan. Tameka products guarantee unique, genuine naturally and creatively made pieces with a true Namibian flair.
We adhere to natural material choices without exploiting endangered species or rare raw material. We strive to use at least 80% locally sourced materials.
The well-trained artists that manufacture the Jewellery have the advantage of being employed and working in a creative and flexible environment.
The Tameka products comes from a clean and friendly work environment and the manufacturing is conducted by happy people.
